Classically trained French Horn player turned pop singer-songwriter and guitarist, Shane's artistry blends catchy pop hooks, unconventional structure, thoughtful bilingual lyrics (English & Spanish), drawing inspiration a diverse array of genres including pop, and folk music from across the Americas. 

Bio

Shane Des Enfants is a singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist (Guitar, Vocals, French Horn) and teaching artist from Bozeman, Montana. He relocated to Seattle in 2024 after spending several years living and working as a facilitator at an arts-based education non-profit in Ecuador. Shane's diverse performance experience includes playing in symphonic orchestras, indie rock/pop bands, solo acoustic/electric guitar, and live electronic vocal processing. Shane has taught in public schools, at summer camps, and arts nonprofits. His artistry brings together European music theory with explorations of indigenous ways of knowing and being. His projects range from a self-produced experimental pop EP to recording Indigenous stories and songs in rural Ecuador. He holds a BA in Music and Multimedia from Brown University, and was one of the recipients of a 2022 Fulbright Study/Research Grant in Ecuador.
